SAVE THE DATE - ALPINE RUNNERS EVENT

Join the Alpine Runners in welcoming Chicago Marathon Executive Race Director Carey Pinkowski, who will speak about the upcoming 43rd Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Carey will also talk about changes to and safety procedures for the race and answer any questions you may have. Whether you’ve run 50 marathons or are training for your first, come join us to hear Carey and be inspired.

Carey will also have some Chicago Marathon giveaways to hand out. Stay tuned for other prize announcements...

This is also an opportunity to get together with fellow runners to offer advice, give encouragement, and share your race experiences and plans.

Event: Chicago Marathon Talk with Executive Race Director Carey Pinkowski

When: Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, 6 PM (see note below)

Where: Breezewald Park, 125 N. Old Rand Rd., Lake Zurich (event is outdoors)

NOTE:

Limited parking is available next to the Sunset Pavillion on the lake.  Parking is also available in the lots across the street and in the spaces along Main Street.

We will be set up at 5 PM, so come early to park, grab a beverage at the pavilion, and mingle with your fellow runners.

Don’t forget to bring a lawn chair!
